Peek Show

Peek Show is a trio of dioramas under the skirts of three life-sized dresses. The dresses, titled Peek 1850, Peek 1950, and Peek 2050, are made of paper, waxed muslin, and nylon. They are hung together high enough for the viewer to peek underneath them and see the artist’s interpretation of a woman’s attitudes toward her reproductive system over three centuries. Peek Show was part of The Diorama Show, a group exhibit of 8 artists' work curated by Elizabeth Stone in 2014 at APE Gallery, Northampton, Massachusetts.
