Cloak for 2050

This human-sized cloak sculpture is made of pig intestine, the material used for sausage casings. Pig gut dries to a beautiful, translucent, papery material. I display the cloak, lit from within, on a translucent mannequin, or hanging from the ceiling. It is meant to protect its wearer from all the elements that will harm us in the future.
